The
Legend
An ancient
Native tradition.
The dream catcher has been made for many
generations where spirit dreams have played.
Hung above the cradleboard, or in the lodge up high.
The dream net catches bad dreams, while good dreams slip on by.
You see, bad dreams become entangled among the sinew thread.
Good dreams slip through the centre hole, while you dream upon your bed.
This is an ancient legend, since dreams will never cease, hang this dream net
above your bed, dream on, and be at peace.

Dream
Catchers
| I started making Dream Catchers to celebrate
the unique connection people share with their beloved pet birds. Although my
Dream Catchers are not Native Indian made, I am very careful to respect the
time-honoured Native Traditions. From Oscar’s original design, I have added my
own unique touch by personalizing each Dream Catcher. In addition, a Certificate
of Authenticity is included with every purchase. |

Things you need to know:
Dream Catchers are NOT TOYS for your birds.
They are precious keepsakes for you.
DO NOT hang a dream catcher in your bird’s cage. DO NOT hang it too close to
your bird’s cage. DO NOT let your bird play with a dream catcher. Although
all materials used are natural and non-toxic, they are still not suitable
for use by birds or children. |

Earth Friendly
Natural, kind and earth friendly - 95% of the
feathers I use to make my Dream Catchers and other crafts are from pet
birds. Different venues do supply me with various feathers, but I assure you
that all feathers are acquired with delicate care. The feathers are either
moulted naturally or clipped by professionals”. I obtain feathers from
various breeders, pet stores and veterinarians. I rely on people that I
trust -- who are bird lovers themselves.
Special thanks to Oscar & Hélène for
teaching me this beautiful craft. |

Framed Pictures & Feathers
| Framed Pictures & Feathers
Framed Pictures & Feathers are created by
mounting your bird's feathers on an acid-free or regular mat. A picture of
your bird is also incorporated into the design process. I then hire the
services of a professional framing establishment to complete the creation.

Testimonials
Here is what some customers had to say... |

June 5th, 2003
Guylaine at BriskyRay Creations has produced
outstanding creations for me, i.e. a beautiful dream catcher, a framed
photo/feather art display, (it has to be seen to be appreciated) and a stunning
feather flower set on an elegant synthetic rose stem. All of these unique
keepsakes made with the feathers of our beloved Sun Conure Sunny the celebrity!
It has been a joy to work with Guylaine as she is warm and friendly yet
professional in all respects. I could not recommend BriskyRay Creations more
highly.
