The Toronto Wildlife Centre (TWC) was opened on March 28th, 1993 by a group of volunteers who were concerned by the fact that there was no other organization in the city dedicated specifically to helping wildlife in need. A registered charity supported entirely by donations, TWC has grown into Canada's busiest wildlife centre, and the only organization in its kind in Toronto.
